1. Introduction

Welcome to Riverside Hut. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the booking of our services. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

Riverside Hut is a resort and recreation center located at Kattoorkadavu Church 2nd Ring Road, Karanchira,Thrissur, Kerala, 680702.

2. Booking and Reservations

2.1 Booking Process

• All bookings must be made through our official website or by contacting us directly
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment confirmation
• You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking
• Accurate personal information must be provided at the time of booking

2.2 Booking Confirmation

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details and a unique booking number. Please retain this information for your records and present it upon arrival.

2.3 Guest Capacity

Each package has specific guest capacity limits:

• Day Program: Up to 50 guests
• Evening Program: Up to 50 guests
• Stay Program: Based on family units (up to 5 members per family)
• Photography Sessions: Flexible based on requirements

Exceeding the booked guest count may result in additional charges or denial of entry.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Online Payment via Razorpay (Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking)
• UPI Payments
• Bank Transfer
• Cash Payment (upon arrival, subject to advance booking deposit)

3.2 Payment Schedule

• A minimum advance payment is required to confirm your booking
• Full payment must be completed at least 48 hours before your scheduled date
• For last-minute bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking

3.3 Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the price at the time of booking.

5. Check-in and Check-out

5.1 Timings

• Day Program: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Evening Program: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Stay Program Check-in: 4:00 PM
• Stay Program Check-out: 12:00 PM (Next Day)

5.2 Early/Late Requests

Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us in advance to arrange.

6. Guest Responsibilities

6.1 Conduct

Guests are expected to:

• Behave respectfully towards staff and other guests
• Follow all safety guidelines and property rules
• Supervise children at all times, especially in the Kids Arena
• Not engage in illegal activities or bring prohibited items
• Respect the natural environment and property facilities

6.2 Prohibited Items

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Weapons of any kind
• Illegal drugs or substances
• Outside alcohol (unless pre-approved)
• Pets (unless pre-approved for specific areas)
• Fireworks or explosives

6.3 Property Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, facilities, or equipment during their stay. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest. We reserve the right to claim compensation for any damages beyond normal wear and tear.

7. Property Rules & Safety

7.1 Kids Arena Safety

• Children must be supervised by adults at all times
• Age restrictions apply to certain activities
• Safety equipment must be used where provided
• Follow staff instructions for all activities

7.2 Swimming and Water Activities

• Swimming is at your own risk
• Children must be accompanied by adults
• No swimming during restricted hours
• Follow lifeguard instructions if present

7.3 Photography Policy

Guests are welcome to take photos for personal use. Commercial photography requires prior permission. We may also take photos during events for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform our staff.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Personal information collected during booking is used solely for reservation and service purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Riverside Hutand is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

11. Force Majeure

Riverside Hut shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms)
• Government actions or restrictions
• Pandemics or health emergencies
• Power failures or technical issues
• Civil unrest or terrorism

In such cases, we will work with guests to reschedule or provide appropriate refunds.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thrissur, Kerala.

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute or disagreement, we encourage guests to contact us directly to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to mediation or arbitration before proceeding to court.

15. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel any booking at our sole discretion if:

• False or misleading information is provided
• Guest behavior is inappropriate or disruptive
• Safety or security concerns arise
• Terms and conditions are violated
• Payment issues occur
